MANILA, PHILIPPINES

St Andrew the Apostle Church
Leandro Locsin, 1968

A beautiful little church adorning the corner of Nicanor Garcia and Neptune. Built by noted Filipino architect Leandro Locsin in 1968. The architect best noted for major cultural works and sadly his other projects are tainted by their patron, and controversial figure, Imelda Marcos. Influenced deeply by the Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.
